Kenneth « Ken » Colley est un acteur, producteur, réalisateur et scénariste anglais, né le à Manchester (Angleterre).

Au cinéma, Kenneth Colley contribue à trente-sept films (britanniques et étrangers — dont américains —, ou coproductions), le premier sorti en 1964. Son rôle sans doute le mieux connu du grand public est celui de l’amiral Piett, dans les épisodes V (1980 ; titre court : L’Empire contre-attaque) et VI (1983 ; titre court : Le Retour du Jedi) de la saga Star Wars de George Lucas.

Parmi ses autres films notables, citons La Symphonie pathétique (1969, avec Richard Chamberlain et Glenda Jackson) et Mahler (1974, avec Robert Powell dans le rôle-titre), tous deux réalisés par Ken Russell, Firefox, l’arme absolue de Clint Eastwood (1982, avec le réalisateur et Freddie Jones), J’ai engagé un tueur d’Aki Kaurismäki (1991, avec Jean-Pierre Léaud et Serge Reggiani), ou encore Les Virtuoses de Mark Herman (1996, avec Pete Postlethwaite et Ewan McGregor).

Comme acteur, son dernier film à ce jour sort en 2012. En outre, il est producteur, réalisateur et scénariste (en plus d’acteur) de deux courts métrages sortis en 2007.

À la télévision (britannique et américaine), Kenneth Colley apparaît dans quatre-vingt-trois séries à partir de 1961, dont Chapeau melon et bottes de cuir (un épisode, 1963), Poigne de fer et séduction (un épisode best water bottle to buy, 1973), Hercule Poirot (un épisode, 1990) et Inspecteur Barnaby (un épisode, 2001). Sa dernière série à ce jour est Misfits, avec un épisode diffusé en 2013.

Sy ajoutent quinze téléfilms diffusés entre 1965 et 2012, dont Les Misérables de Glenn Jordan (1978, avec Richard Jordan et Anthony Perkins) et La Pourpre et le Noir de Jerry London (1983, avec Gregory Peck et Christopher Plummer). House of Habib

The House of Habib is a prominent Khoja business family in Pakistan. The Habib group’s most famous and successful subsidiary is its Banking and Finance division.

The history of the House of Habib goes back to middle of the previous-to-last century when Esmail Ali of Jamnagar district of Gujarat, in western India, set up a small utensil factory in Bombay. His son Habib Esmail, born in 1878, founded the House of Habib. Habib was very young when his father died lemon squeeze, forcing him to join the business of his uncle Cassum Mohammad. Cassum Mohammad was the owner of Khoja Mithabai Nathoo design your own goalie gloves, a merchant, and a manufacturer of copper and brass utensils. It was because of his association with Mithabai Nathoo that Habib Ismael came to be known as Seth Habib Mitha.

The House of Habib holds many distinctions in Pakistan’s history. Habib Bank was shifted to Pakistan on the personal bidding of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah water tumbler glass. He came to the aid of the nascent state “even before the Govt of Pakistan was ready to issue appropriate government paper” with a Rs 80 million loan when the Reserve Bank of India failed to deliver Pakistan share of Rs 900 million held by it. It is said that Mohammad Ali Habib gave a blank cheque on Lloyd Bank to the Quaid-e-Azam who wrote Rs 80 million in it.

The Habib family set up offices in Vienna and Geneva as early as 1912 and incorporated Habib and Sons in 1921, which dealt in brass, metal scraps and gold with “Lion of Ali” & Zulfiqar embossed on it. The Habib Bank still uses this as its insignia lint ball. Habibs today are headed by Rafiq Habib and the Dawood Habib family in two distinct groups.

Amphibian Ark

The Amphibian Ark (or AArk) is a joint effort of three principal partners: the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA), the IUCN/SSC Conservation Breeding Specialist Group (CBSG), and the IUCN/SSC Amphibian Specialist Group (ASG).

The AArk was formed to address the ex situ components of the Amphibian Conservation Action Plan (ACAP). Its vision is the world’s amphibians safe in nature, and its mission is ensuring the global survival of amphibians Print Sexy Dresses, focusing on those that cannot be safeguarded in nature bpa free water.

Amphibian Ark staff coordinate ex situ amphibian programs implemented by partners around the world, with the first emphasis on programs within the range countries of the species, and with an obligation to couple ex situ conservation measures with protection or restoration of species in their natural habitats.

An AArk Steering Committee, with Executive Co-Chairs from each of the three principal partners, provide guidance on the activities of the AArk and ensure communication with stakeholders.

A number of dedicated positions coordinate implementation within the AArk initiative lint ball; assist AArk partners in priority taxa identifying and regions for ex situ conservation work; lead development and implementation of training programs for building capacity of individuals and institutions; and develop communications strategies, newsletters and other messages, and materials to promote understanding and action on behalf of amphibian conservation.

Advisory Committees have been formed to consult on species-specific issues, for example, reintroduction, gene banking, and veterinary, legal, and ethical concerns.

Members of the AArk are WAZA members and WAZA affiliates, members of regional or national zoo associations, ISIS, AArk approved private partners and AArk approved museums, universities and wildlife agencies.

Although action to save critical species from immediate extinction will be to send them to facilities with space and expertise, the goal is to enable the range countries currently lacking facilities and expertise to care for their own species waterproof boat bag. This will allow outside experts to free up their time and space to begin the process anew with other species in other regions of the world.
